i have a program that allows you to record 30 second mp3 ringtones. I already have the Close Encounters Jam from 1-22-78 and a nice shakedown intro, and was looking for some other suggestions. They need to be downloadable from here (I don't know how to use etree). I need a few good 30 second soundbites.

I use the opening notes of Here Comes Sunshine as my general ringtone on my iPhone. I made it out of a converted MP3 using iTunes, no other software needed.

I grabbed the opening notes of Bertha (specifically Red Rock, 7-8-78) and made it into what I think is a pretty cool ringtone.

It's called phonezoo and it works on most cell phones and carriers and it's free.
